Jeremy Young’s poetry reflects many aspects of life: scientific, spiritual, erudite, classical, all with an erotic undertone. He has also an eye for detail which absorbs the reader into his poems, reflecting a real world with recognisable feelings, full of beautiful yet apposite images. He makes the reader look at things anew which is surely the essence of good poetry.
Jeremy read Theology at Christ’s College, Cambridge and Pastoral Theology at Heythrop College, London. He was an Anglican priest who has worked in parochial ministry and theological education. He lives with his wife in the countryside near Bath.
