Product Description

An anthology from the first sixty issues of Acumen, edited by Patricia Oxley.

To celebrate the first twenty-five years of the magazine, an anthology was produced of a representative selection of poems from the first sixty issues. Containing over 300 pages of poetry from over 200 poets ranging from the then Poet Laureate Sir Andrew Motion, through the majority of well-established poets to new comers just starting out.

To quote from the introduction: ‘Reading the poems was not just a nostalgic journey through 25 years of editing, but I felt like I was reading a social history of the past quarter of a century. And not just a social history, but a history of poetic forms and fashions.’
